Shifter Minnow
The Cavy Shifter Minnow is a slow-sinking minnow lure built for long casts and lifelike baitfish action in saltwater and freshwater. Its magnetic weight-transfer system shifts weight towards the tail during the cast for stable, accurate flight, even into headwinds.
Choose your size
Choose by lure length, casting weight and running depth. All three sizes are slow sinking.
• 70SS: 70 mm (2 ¾”), 6.5 g (¼ oz), running depth 0.7 m (2.5 ft), BKK 3X #08 hooks.
• 90SS: 90 mm (3 ⁹⁄₁₆”), 9.5 g (⅜ oz), running depth 1 m (3–4 ft), BKK 3X #06 hooks.
• 105SS: 105 mm (4”), 12 g (⁷⁄₁₆ oz), running depth 1.3 m (4–5 ft), BKK 3X #04 hooks.
How to fish it
Work it with twitches or jerks for a wounded-baitfish presentation, or use a steady retrieve for a tight wobble and subtle roll. On the pause, its balanced body falls horizontally with natural flash and vibration.
Where it fits
Fish shorelines, surf zones, shallow flats and mid-depth reefs, including windy offshore conditions. Tested in saltwater and freshwater for Bream, Bass, Trevally, Trout and Snapper.
