Where do you ship from and how long does delivery take?
We ship worldwide from our fulfilment centres in Australia and the USA.
Delivery times vary depending on your location – local orders usually arrive within 3-8 business days, while international shipping takes between 7-21 business days. Express options are available at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yep, we do! Cavy Fishing ships gear to most countries around the world. All shipping rates and delivery times are displayed at checkout, so you can choose what works best for you.
Can I change or cancel my order after it’s placed?
Once an order is confirmed, we’re usually unable to change or cancel it – our team works fast to get it packed and shipped. If you’ve made a mistake, reach out to us at info@cavyfishing.com, and we’ll do our best to help.
How do I track my order?
Once your order’s been dispatched, you’ll get an email with a tracking number. You can use it to follow your package every step of the way.

How do I choose the right size for fishing apparel?
Each product page includes a detailed size guide. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a bit of extra room – especially if you’re layering or fishing in warmer climates.
Are Cavy handmade lures tested before sale?
Absolutely. Every handmade lure is tested in real saltwater conditions by Adam Cavanagh himself – reefs, rocky headlands, and surf zones – before it joins the lineup.
Do hard baits and handmade lures work in freshwater too?
Yes, they perform great in both salt and freshwater. Many anglers use them for barramundi, snapper, or even trout when conditions suit.
Are your sunglasses polarised?
Every pair of Cavy sunglasses is fully polarised to cut glare and enhance underwater visibility – essential for spotting fish and structure in bright sun.
Product Care & Maintenance
How should I look after handmade lures?
Rinse them in fresh water after every trip, dry thoroughly, and store them in a ventilated tackle box to protect the finish and hardware.
Can I wash my UV shirts and Rock Hopper shoes in a machine?
Yes, just use cold water, gentle detergent and avoid fabric softeners. For shoes, rinse off salt and sand, then let them air-dry out of direct sunlight.
Are Cavy products saltwater-safe?
They sure are. All gear is tested in real marine environments – salt, spray and heat – so it’s built to last under the toughest conditions.
Returns, Warranty & Support
What’s your return policy?
If you’re not 100% stoked with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days in original condition. For returns or exchanges, contact info@cavyfishing.com.
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes. All Cavy products are backed by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If you believe something’s not up to scratch, get in touch and we’ll sort it.
