The Current Killer was built for one reason: I needed a stickbait that wouldn't blow out in heavy wash or strong currents. Most lures work fine from a boat, but on the rocks, you need something that digs in and holds its action.

HOW TO FISH IT
1. The Long Sweep:
Keep your rod tip down and apply a long, firm sweep. The lure will dive and swim in a wide "S" shape. This is your standard retrieve for active fish.
2. The Panic Twitch:
If you have a follower, don't stop! Switch to short, sharp twitches to make the lure dart side-to-side like a panicked baitfish.
3. Heavy Wash Tip:
If the current is ripping, slow your retrieve down. Let the lure "bite" into the water before you start your sweep to stop it from tumbling.
4. Sink & Rip:
When using the sinking model in deeper water, or even fast moving currents you can let the lure sink down into other water columns. Know the depth you are fishing to get the lure down deep enough without being snagged! Once the lure is in the desired depth burn the lure back as fast as you can, this often leads to hard hitting striked from fast moving predatory fish like pelagic species, Mackerel, Tuna etc.

Very nice handcrafted Lures!
I'm based on Lesvos island, Greece. Mediterranean fishing. I bought this lure just to try it out. Cost me +50% extra to ship and import. Never expected to actually work since it's aimed at much bigger game. We have some Amberjacks and False Albacores here, that could target such lures, plus the odd Dentex or Seabass that attack pretty much anything. I got the mint color 30g floating version. The best available that suits our Spinning gear here in the Mediterranean. We generally use 10-40g c.w. rods with a PE 1.2 line. I rigged it with size 2, BKK Fangs treble hooks.
First session trying it out, using it in a 3-lure rotation. This lure stood out from the moment it hit the water. It is supposed to be floating, but submerges during retrieve and maintains a nice depth of about half a meter(?), with nice WTD-like subsurface movement. It responds equally well to twitching and drags. Drags give it a more sudden charge-and-stop action, and reemerges to the top in-between pauses.
After 4 hours of fishing and about 2kms of coastline exploration, I had nothing to show for. So, I decided to switch solely to the Current Killer and try it out a bit more, on the way back. Stopping only at spots that caught my eye earlier. Just a few hundred meters before the beach I parked my car, I got a violent strike just a few meters wide from the worst rocky terrain of the whole coastline. I instantly understood this was not going to be easy. The fish was big and strong, pulling more line than I could gather and heading for the many rocks in front of me. Tightened the drag a few clicks, just to be able to reel in a decent amount between runs, held the rod high and prayed it stays clear of sharp rocks. With a fair amount of luck, I landed one of the biggest Dentex I've caught, and the first in that fishing area. On the first day I tried out Current Killer. Luck or not, I'm not going spinning without it, ever again...

Awesome stickbait, extremely long cast and stable action.
The quality of workmanship on these lures is premium. You’d pay a lot more to some of the other manufacturers of wooden stickbaits. And to be honest, it’s not too economical throwing expensive, often hard to get hold of works of art into the water to potentially get snagged or snipped off. These lures are on par with the best in build quality, but far better value.
