How fast is shipping?
We dispatch all orders placed before 2pm AEST on the same business day. We ship globally with Express options available for Australia, NZ, and the USA. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your gear leaves our Gold Coast warehouse.
Are the lures ready to fish out of the box?
All Cavy hard baits come rigged with split rings and hooks. The handmade lures are not rigged and ready, unless clearly specific.
How do I care for my handmade timber lures?
Timber is a natural material. After every saltwater session, wash your lures in freshwater and dry them in the shade (not direct hot sun). This prevents the timber from swelling and protects the clear coat, ensuring your lure lasts for years of abuse.
How does the apparel fit?
Our fishing jerseys and tech shorts are designed for an "Active Fit"—athletic but with room to move for casting. If you prefer a looser, baggy fit, we recommend sizing up one size. Check the size chart on the individual product page for exact measurements.
What is your return policy?
We offer a hassle-free return policy. If your gear arrives damaged you can return it within 14 days (provided it is unused and has original packaging). If the sizing is incorrect then this will incur the full amount of costs for a return and replacement. Contact us at info@cavyfishing.com to start the process.
